The Power and Control Wheel is a tool that helps explain the different ways an abusive partner can use power and control to manipulate a relationship. Look at the spoke of the wheel to learn more about one of the forms of abuse, including examples and red flags.
While women are disproportionately victims, men are also victims of domestic violence. While each case is unique, abusers use a range of abusive behavior to control their patterns including physical, emotional, psychological, sexual, financial, and spiritual abuse.
